This powerful motto has driven my journey into private practice as a therapist and health and well-being coach. With 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I have dedicated my career to providing client-centered and evidence-based treatment to help individuals and families heal and cope. However, my experience within the mental health care system has left me feeling disheartened and overwhelmed.
In the United States, the current system of care prioritizes the bottom line, with health decisions often being dictated by insurance companies and big pharma. Mental health is frequently treated in isolation, neglecting the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. The importance of nutrition and physical activity is often overlooked. This has led to underserved clients and a generation of burnt-out and disillusioned healthcare professionals. These systemic flaws have inspired me to create Hope Abounds Wellness Services, LLC, an integrative model of mental health therapy and health coaching practice that takes a holistic approach to individual healing and well-being.
I aim to empower individuals to become experts in their journey toward optimal health, create sustainable change, and establish healthy habits for life. I look forward to partnering with you to assist you in reclaiming your life!
